UninstallR

UninstallR[]

uninstalls the R runtime/RLink.

Details and Options

  • UninstallR[] uninstalls the R runtime.
  • If the R runtime has not yet been installed or has already been uninstalled, UninstallR[] does nothing.
  • Normally, there is no need to call UninstallR. One reason to use it is when you want to install the R runtime with a different set of command-line options.

This loads the RLink package:

If you forget to install the R runtime and try a command, this message will appear:

This configures RLink and installs the R runtime:

You can now start working:

This uninstalls R:

You can no longer use RLink, until you call InstallR again:
