UninstallR


uninstalls the R runtime/RLink.

  • uninstalls the R runtime.
  • If the R runtime has not yet been installed or has already been uninstalled, does nothing.
  • Normally, there is no need to call . One reason to use it is when you want to install the R runtime with a different set of command-line options.

This loads the RLink package:

In[1]:=

If you forget to install the R runtime and try a command, this message will appear:

In[2]:=
Click for copyable input
Out[2]=

This configures RLink and installs the R runtime:

In[3]:=
Click for copyable input

You can now start working:

In[4]:=
Click for copyable input
Out[4]=

This uninstalls R:

In[5]:=
Click for copyable input

You can no longer use RLink, until you call InstallR again:

In[6]:=
Click for copyable input
Out[6]=
