$CloudObjectURLType

is the default setting for the CloudObjectURLType option when constructing a CloudObject.

Details

  • The original default setting for $CloudObjectURLType is "Object".
  • The following settings can be used:
  • "Object"deployed view of the object (/obj/)
    "Environment"editing environment view for the object (/env/)
    "Download"download URL for the object (/download/)
    "StaticHTML"static HTML view of the object (/statichtml/)

By default, newly created named cloud objects use "Object" to format their URLs to the deployed view of the object:

With this setting, a named object uses the deployed view of the object:

Now the named object uses the development environment URL:
