SetSystemOptions

SetSystemOptions["name"value]

resets the value for the internal system option with the specified name.

Details

  • Suboptions can be reset using SetSystemOptions["name"->"subname"->value].
  • System options specify parameters relevant to the internal operation of the Wolfram System. They should not normally be modified except under specific direction. If they are modified, the Wolfram System may not operate correctly.

Basic Examples  (1)

Use SystemOptions to check a group of options:

In[1]:=
Click for copyable input
Out[1]=

By default the system is set up to reorder the output from BooleanConvert:

In[2]:=
Click for copyable input
Out[2]=

Specify that no such ordering should happen:

In[3]:=
Click for copyable input
In[4]:=
Click for copyable input
Out[4]=

Reset to standard behavior:

In[5]:=
Click for copyable input
