ShowClosedCellArea

This function has not been fully integrated into the long-term Wolfram Language, and is subject to change.

ShowClosedCellArea

is an option for cells that specifies whether a rectangular bar is displayed next to a closed cell group to indicate the number of cells in the group.

Details

  • With the default setting ShowClosedCellArea->False, no bar appears next to the bracket for the closed cell group.
  • With the setting ShowClosedCellArea->True, a rectangular bar is displayed to the left of the brackets for the closed cell group. The length of the bar is proportional to the number of cells in the group, with each pixel representing one cell.
  • For the area bar to be displayed, ShowClosedCellArea must be set to True for the leading cell in a cell group.
