SystemHelpPath

This function has not been fully integrated into the long-term Wolfram Language, and is subject to change.

SystemHelpPath

is a global option that specifies which directories are searched for the help notebooks used within the help system.

Details

  • The directories to be searched are specified using the FrontEnd`FileName function. Typical directories included on SystemHelpPath are $InstallationDirectory and $UserBaseDirectory.
  • The help notebooks should be located in a subdirectory called Documentation/language, where language is determined by the value of the global variable $Language. It can be any language recognized by the system, such as English, French, or German.
