The option Path may be used to search for files not on the standard search path given by
Path→ {
$Path,
$ImageProcessingDataDirectory}.
ImageRead works by calling the built-in Import function and converting the returned
Graphics expression or list of
Graphics expressions into an
ImageData expression or a list of
ImageData expressions, respectively.
