Example Images

The Digital Image Processing application package comes with a number of images. These images support the numerous examples found throughout the documentation that accompanies the package. They are all conveniently located within the directory structure of the package and easily accessible to the user upon loading the package. The example images are all located in the Data subdirectory of the ImageProcessing directory tree.

This loads the package.

This resets the working directory.

The ImageProcessing read and write functions (see User's Guide, Section 2.5) automatically search the path defined by symbol $ImageProcessingDataDirectory for the requested filenames. For easy access to additional data directories, the user may add to this search path. For example, here we add a temporary directory to the path (the actual path specifications are system dependent and may be different from the example shown here).

Here we revert back to the original setting.
