A4.1 Starting Dynamic Visualizer

Dynamic Visualizer may be used without Mathematica as a freestanding three-dimensional viewer simply by double-clicking its icon. When using Dynamic Visualizer with Mathematica, this step is unnecessary as the package starts automatically.

When Dynamic Visualizer starts, a camera and a default model are created. The camera represents your location in the virtual scene, and the model represents a volume in which new objects are created. As the model is rotated, all objects within it also rotate. In the next section, we explain how to load an object into Dynamic Visualizer.
