6.4 Exporting Animations to Disk

Animations can be exported to disk as a series of pictures. On a Macintosh computer, animations are saved as a QuickTimeTrademark movie. In Windows, movies are saved in AVI format.

This saves the last animation sent to Dynamic Visualizer. Animations are saved in the current Mathematica directory unless filename is an absolute filepath. Alternatively, an animation can be included explicitly.

Here is an example that creates a movie file, "MyMovie", using a simple Dynamic Visualizer animation to rotate the model.

It is also possible to save the last animation using the Dynamic Visualizer menu.
