Abs• Abs[z] gives the absolute value of the real or complex number z. • The absolute value of a real number, z, is the distance from 0 to z. • For complex numbers z, Abs[z] gives the modulus | z |. • Abs[z] is left unevaluated if z is not a numeric quantity. • See also: Arg, Im, Mod, Re.
