Cut• Cut deletes the current selection and puts it on the Clipboard. • To cut selected material from the notebook and place it in the Clipboard: 1. Highlight the area to be cut.
2. Choose Cut from the Edit menu.You can then insert the deleted material elsewhere using the Paste command. • Keyboard shortcut:   x (Windows);  x (Macintosh).
