How to type the row vector

Type a left parenthesis and a right parenthesis, then move the insertion point so it is between them.

Type (), press

Type the first entry of the vector. Create a placeholder for the next entry by holding down the Control key and typing a comma.

Type a, press ControlKeyLeftModified,RightModified

Type the next entry into the placeholder (which is already selected). Create another placeholder with Control-comma and repeat.

Type b, press ControlKeyLeftModified,RightModified

Type c, press ControlKeyLeftModified,RightModified

Hold down the Control key and press the space bar to move out of the grid.

Use the right arrow key to move the insertion point out of the vector.
