GeoRegionValuePlot

GeoRegionValuePlot[{reg1val1,reg2val2,}]
generates a plot in which the geographic regions are colored according to the values .

GeoRegionValuePlot[regionval]
generates a plot in which the geographic subdivisions of region are colored according to the values EntityValue[_,val].

GeoRegionValuePlot[entityclassval]
generates a plot in which the geographic regions in entityclass are colored according to the values EntityValue[_,val].

  • The can be Entity objects such as countries corresponding to extended geographic regions, or geometric constructs with GeoPosition coordinates.
  • The geometric constructs supported by GeoRegionValuePlot include Rectangle, Polygon, Disk, GeoDisk.
  • By default, GeoRegionValuePlot outlines and shades the specified regions over a street map without labels.
  • The can be either numbers or colors.
  • GeoRegionValuePlot evaluates to a GeoGraphics object.
  • GeoRegionValuePlot takes the same options as GeoGraphics, with the following additions and changes:
  • PlotStyleAutomaticgraphics directives to determine style of the
MissingStyleBlackhow to display if is missing or invalid
GeoLabelsFalsewhether and how to add labels to the
LabelStyleAutomaticgraphics directives to determine style of labels
ColorFunctionAutomatichow to translate numerical values into colors
ColorRulesAutomaticSpecify color rules for explicit values
ColorFunctionScalingTruewhether to scale arguments to ColorFunction
PointMarkerPointhow to mark very small locations
UnitSystem$UnitSystemwhether result has imperial or metric units
ValueRangeAllwhat range of values to display
ClippingStyleAutomatichow to color if is not in PlotRange
    LegendStyleAutomatichow the legend will appear
  • Histogram
  • The following settings for UnitSystem can be used:
  • "Imperial"return results in imperial units
    "Metric"return results in metric units
  • The following settings for GeoLabels can be used:
  • Trueadd text labels to graphical output
    Falseadd no labels
"TooltipData"add tooltips to graphical output that show the of each
"TooltipName"add tooltips to graphical output that show names of each
  • The following settings for PlotRange can be used:
  • Automaticrange includes all of the
maxrange includes all of the less than max
{min, max}range includes all of the from min to max
{min, max,pr}specify range of and add PlotRange->pr to the underlying GeoGraphics call
prspecify PlotRange->pr to the underlying GeoGraphics
