The Statistics`Common` subdirectory includes several packages that are used by the primary Statistics packages to share common symbols. These common packages are not meant to be loaded individually. Most users do not need to be aware of them, but if you are writing your own packages using functions defined by a Statistics package, it is wise to check whether symbols you need are introduced via one of the Common packages. The definitions for such symbols are given in the documentation for the primary package that loads the respective Common package. The Statistics`Common` packages are DistributionsCommon`, MultivariateCommon`, PopulationsCommon`, and RegressionCommon`.
