copies a selection and converts it to the specified format.
▪ Selections can be copied in the following formats: Text, Input Text, Cell Expression, Notebook Expression, and Complete Notebook. On Macintosh also: PICT, Bitmap PICT, PICT with Embedded PostScript, and QuickTime.
