Paste and Discard

▪ Paste and Discard transfers the contents of the Clipboard into the current insertion point, leaving the Clipboard empty.
▪ When the Clipboard is extremely large and memory is short, you can paste with this command to avoid duplicating the contents of the Clipboard. Unlike the Paste command, Paste and Discard cannot be repeated, since it empties the Clipboard.
▪ By using Cut in combination with Paste and Discard, you can transfer large blocks of cells between notebooks without taking up additional memory.
