Characters

  • Characters[" string "] gives a list of the characters in a string.
  • Each character is given as a length one string.
  • Characters handles both ordinary and special characters.

    Further Examples

    The string "Here is a message" is encoded by first converting it to a sequence of characters and then making some arbitrary substitutions.
