EllipticLog

  • EllipticLog[ x , y , a , b ] gives the generalized logarithm associated with the elliptic curve .
  • EllipticLog[ x , y , a , b ] is defined as the value of the integral , where the sign of the square root is specified by giving the value of such that .

    It is natural to think of EllipticLog as a function of a single argument (for fixed parameters and ). You can supply the argument automatically; choosing the opposite branch for the square root changes the sign of the result of EllipticLog.
