FilledSmallSquare FunctionExpand[ausdr] versucht, spezielle und bestimmte andere Funktionen zu entwickeln, und so, wenn möglich, zusammengesetzte Argumente in einfachere zu reduzieren.

FilledSmallSquare FunctionExpand[ausdr, annahme] entwickelt unter Verwendung von Annahmen.

FilledSmallSquare FunctionExpand verwendet einen großen Satz Regeln.

FilledSmallSquare FunctionExpand kann auf gewisse trigonometrische Funktionen sowie spezielle Funktionen angewendet werden.

FilledSmallSquare FunctionExpand wird von FullSimplify automatisch aufgerufen.

FilledSmallSquare Annahmen in FunctionExpand können wie bei Simplify spezifiziert werden.

FilledSmallSquare Beispiel: FunctionExpand[ausdr, x Reals] führt Entwicklung unter der Annahme durch, daß x reell ist.
