SampleDepth

FilledSmallSquare SampleDepth is an option for sound primitives which specifies how many bits should be used to encode sound amplitude levels.

FilledSmallSquare The default setting is SampleDepth -> 8.

FilledSmallSquare With the default setting, 256 distinct sound amplitudes are allowed.
