Cut

Cut deletes the current selection and puts it in the Clipboard.

To cut selected material from the notebook and place it on the Clipboard:

1. Highlight the area to be cut.

2. Choose Cut from the Edit menu.

You can then insert the deleted material elsewhere using the Paste command.
