4.3.1 Running a Local Copy

To run Mathematica using a network password, both the client machine and the license server must be on the network and MathLM must be running. If this is not the case, you can run Mathematica by entering a single-machine password in the front end (see Section 4.3.3).

To run Mathematica on Mac OS X:

Double-click the Mathematica 5.0 icon in the directory where Mathematica is installed. Alternatively, if you have placed the Mathematica icon in the Dock, single-click the icon.
