ToRules

Usage

• ToRules[eqns] takes logical combinations of equations, in the form generated by Roots and Reduce, and converts them to lists of rules, of the form produced by Solve.


Notes

• Example: ToRules[xEqual1 || xEqual2] LongRightArrow .
• ToRules discards nonequalities (NotEqual), and thus gives only "generic" solutions.
• See Section 3.4.1.
• New in Version 1.
