DisplayAllSteps

DisplayAllSteps
is an option to Animate and related functions which specifies whether all frames should be displayed in an animation, even if to do so would slow the animation down.
  • With DisplayAllSteps->False, animations may "catch up" by dropping some intermediate frames.
With the default setting some steps may be skipped by Animate:
