HypergeometricPFQ

HypergeometricPFQ[{a1, ..., ap}, {b1, ..., bq}, z]
is the generalized hypergeometric function _p​F_q(a;b;z).
  • Mathematical function, suitable for both symbolic and numerical manipulation.
  • _p​F_q(a;b;z) has series expansion ∑_(k=0)^(∞)(a_1)_k…(a_p)_k/(b_1)_k…(b_q)_k z^k/k!.
  • In many special cases, HypergeometricPFQ is automatically converted to other functions.
  • For certain special arguments, HypergeometricPFQ automatically evaluates to exact values.
  • For p=q+1, HypergeometricPFQ[alist, blist, z] has a branch cut discontinuity in the complex z plane running from 1 to
