TeXForm

TeXForm[expr]
prints as a TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X version of expr.
  • TeXForm produces AMS-LAdjustmentBox[A, BoxBaselineShift -> -0.4, BoxMargins -> {{-0.5, -0.3}, {0, 0}}]TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X-compatible TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X output.
  • TeXForm acts as a "wrapper", which affects printing, but not evaluation.
  • TeXForm translates standard mathematical functions and operations.
  • Symbols with names like alpha and ALPHA that correspond to TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X symbols are translated into their corresponding TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X symbols.  »
  • Following standard mathematical conventions, single-character symbol names are given in italic font, while multiple character names are given in roman font.
  • Mathematica special characters are translated whenever possible to their TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X equivalents.
