Describes the contents and the layout of multi-page documents.
Based on Donald Knuth's TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X typesetting system.
Developed in 1985 by Leslie Lamport as a special-purpose derivative of TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X.
  • Import fully supports AMS-LAdjustmentBox[A, BoxBaselineShift -> -0.4, BoxMargins -> {{-0.5, -0.3}, {0, 0}}]TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X and other variants of the LAdjustmentBox[A, BoxBaselineShift -> -0.4, BoxMargins -> {{-0.5, -0.3}, {0, 0}}]TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X language.

  • Import["file.tex"] imports a LAdjustmentBox[A, BoxBaselineShift -> -0.4, BoxMargins -> {{-0.5, -0.3}, {0, 0}}]TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X document and returns a notebook version of it.
  • Import["file.tex", elem] imports the specified element from a LAdjustmentBox[A, BoxBaselineShift -> -0.4, BoxMargins -> {{-0.5, -0.3}, {0, 0}}]TAdjustmentBox[E, BoxBaselineShift -> 0.5, BoxMargins -> {{-0.3, 0}, {0, 0}}]X file.
  • Import["file.tex", {{elem1, elem2, ...}}] imports multiple elements.
  • The import format can be specified with Import["file", "LaTeX"] or Import["file", {"LaTeX", elem, ...}].
