Edit ► Copy

Copy
copies a selection to the clipboard without deleting it from your notebook.

To copy selected material from a notebook and place it on the clipboard, highlight the area to be copied and choose Edit ► Copy.

The copied text or cells can then be inserted in another notebook or elsewhere in the same notebook with the Edit ► Paste command.
