Exit
causes Mathematica to quit.
  • Mathematica asks if you want to save any unsaved notebooks before quitting, since changes would otherwise be lost.
  • On Mac OS X systems, this command is called Quit Mathematica and is found under the Mathematica application menu.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+F4 (Windows); Cmd+Q (Macintosh); Ctrl+Q (X).
