ImageEffect

ImageEffect[image, "effect"]
applies the specified image effect to image.
ImageEffect[image, {"effect", params}]
uses parameters params.
  • Available artistic image effects include:
{"Charcoal",x}charcoal sketch effect
{"Embossing",x,Alpha}embossing by an amount x at an angle Alpha
{"OilPainting",x}artistic oil painting effect
{"Solarization",t}solarization or Sabatier effect
  • Random noise effects:
{"Noise",a}adds zero-mean uniform noise of amplitude a/2
{"GaussianNoise",Sigma}adds zero-mean Gaussian noise with standard deviation Sigma
{"SaltPepperNoise",f}adds salt and pepper noise to a fraction f of the image
  • In each case, "effect" can be used instead of {"effect", ...}, and uses default values for parameters.
