ShowCellBracket

ShowCellBracket
is an option for Cell which specifies whether to display the bracket that indicates the extent of the cell.

ShowCellBracket is often set for styles of cells or whole notebooks instead of individual cells.

ShowCellBracket->Automatic displays cell brackets only when the mouse is over them.

Use ShowCellBracket to specify whether a cell bracket is displayed:
