GridDefaultElement

GridDefaultElement
is an option for the low-level function GridBox that specifies what to insert when a new element is created interactively in a GridBox.
  • The setting for GridDefaultElement is used to determine the contents of new columns or rows created with Ctrl+, or Ctrl+Enter.
This creates a notebook with a grid set to fill new rows or columns with 0:
Typing Ctrl+Enter adds a new row, which is filled with 0s by default:
