NotebookCreate

As of Version 6.0, has been superseded by CreateDocument, CreatePalette, and related functions.

creates a new open notebook in the front end.
NotebookCreate[options]
sets up the specified options for the new notebook.
MORE INFORMATION
  • will by default create a notebook with name .
  • Unless you set the option Visible->False, will cause a new window to appear on your screen.
