File ► New

New
creates a new notebook, slide show, Demonstration, package, or text document.

	Notebook	create a new notebook window
	Slide Show	create a new slide show notebook
	Demonstration	create a template for a new Demonstration
	Styled Notebook	open the Stylesheets palette to create a styled notebook
	FreeCDF	create a new Computable Document (.cdf) file
	Package	create a new package (.m) file
	Text Document	create a new text (.txt) file
