As of Version 10, most of the functionality of the Combinatorica package is built into the Wolfram System. »
TreeToCertificate[t]
returns a binary string that is a certificate for the tree 
such that trees have the same certificate if and only if they are isomorphic.

- To use TreeToCertificate, you first need to load the Combinatorica Package using Needs["Combinatorica`"].
