authalic球体の半径を，長半径 semimajor と離心率 eccentricity を持つ回転楕円体に基づいて計算する．

  • を使うためには，まず測地学パッケージ をロードしなくてはならない．それにはを実行する必要がある．
  • 回転楕円体から球体への変換には，authalic球体を用いるのが最も簡単である．
  • authalic球体は基準の回転楕円体と同じ表面積を持つ．
