ToDMS

As of Version 7.0, ToDMS has been superseded by DMSString and DMSList.

ToDMS[degrees]

converts a coordinate in degrees to degree-minute-second format.

Details and Options

  • To use ToDMS, you first need to load the Geodesy Package using Needs["Geodesy`"].
  • Conversion takes place to the nearest second.
  • The coordinates are between -180 and 180 degrees.
