CharacterEncodingsPath

is a global option that specifies which directories are searched for character encoding files.

Details

  • The directories to be searched are specified using the FrontEnd`FileName function. Typical directories included on AutoloadPath are FrontEnd`FileName[{$UserBaseDirectory,"SystemFiles","CharacterEncodings"] and FrontEnd`FileName[{$InstallationDirectory,"SystemFiles","CharacterEncodings"}].
