GaugeFrameSize

is an option for gauge functions that controls the size of the frame around the gauge.

Details

GaugeFrameSize can take the following forms:
None draw no frame

Automatic automatic size for the frame

s draw frame with scaled size s

Tiny,Small,Medium,Large predefined absolute sizes
GaugeFrameSize->s is scaled to the radius of the face in the case of circular gauges, and the longer face dimension in the case of linear gauges.

Make the frame have an explicit width scaled to the size of the gauge face:

Use None to turn off the frame:
