  • NotebookBrowseDirectory determines the default location from which notebooks are opened or to which notebooks are saved.
  • The default setting of this option is system-dependent.
  • The setting for NotebookBrowseDirectory changes during a session if you use a File menu command that changes the default directory, such as Open, Save, or Save As.
