SaveAutoDelete

This function has not been fully integrated into the long-term Mathematica system, and is subject to change.

SaveAutoDelete
is an option for ErrorBox objects that specifies whether the ErrorBox is automatically deleted when the notebook containing it is saved.

DetailsDetails

  • The Mathematica front end wraps an ErrorBox around any expression that it does not recognize while reading in a file. The expression is then displayed with a thick red line drawn under it. With the setting SaveAutoDelete->True, any ErrorBox is automatically deleted if the notebook is saved.
  • The default setting is SaveAutoDelete->False.
