Insert New Cell
creates a new cell with the selected style at the cell insertion point.

  • You can choose the cell style for the new cell from the style menu that appears.
  • [Right-click] ► Insert New Cell is equivalent to choosing Format ► Style ► style and typing into a notebook.
  • Insert New Cell can be found in the contextual menu for the cell insertion point.
