About Mathematica Teacher's Edition

Mathematica Teacher's Edition (Mathematica TE) is an easy-to-use package with an all new graphic interface driven by palettes and buttons.

Mathematica TE includes tools for creating customized lessons, tailored assignments, and individualized quizzes with automatic answer keys. You can make classroom demos featuring formulas, live 2D and 3D graphics, animations, and sounds. You can also write notebooks to solve complex problems that include extended computations and discussions about your calculations.

You can generate handouts quickly using built-in ready-to-use lessons, ranging from pre-algebra to calculus and authored by teachers like you. Or you can adapt the lessons to fit your needs.

Using Mathematica TE you can:

Bulletgenerate quizzes without repeating a problem

Bulletcreate answer keys with the click of a button

Bulletbuild customized courses

Bulletconstruct classroom demos of 2D and 3D plots

Bulletchoose from hundreds of built-in functions for algebra, calculus, graphics, and more

Bulletsolve equations in symbolic form or as decimal approximations

Bulletaccess information quickly on any function using the comprehensive online help

Bulletimport and export data--both text and graphics

Mathematica TE supports the popular notebook (.nb) format, which integrates text, equations, and graphics in a single platform-independent document. You can easily send notebooks by email or post them on the web, which makes them a convenient format for reports and articles.

Mathematica TE is the ideal tool for educators like you. Succeed in the classroom and bring math to life for your students.
