AXPY
AXPY[α,x,y]
computes the vector y+αx and resets y to the result.
Details and Options
- To use AXPY, you first need to load the BLAS Package using Needs["LinearAlgebra`BLAS`"].
- The following arguments must be given:
-
α input expression scalar multiple x input expression vector y input/output symbol vector; the symbol value is modified in place - Dimensions of the vector arguments must be such that the addition is well defined.
