Find...
• Find searches the current document for matches to the text contained in the "Search for:" field ("Find:" on Macintosh) of the dialog box.
• Once a match is found in the document, choosing Replace in the Find menu replaces the selected match with the new text contained in the "Replace with:" field.
Find
Searches forward for the next occurrence after your current selection in the document.
Previous
Searches backward from the current selection.
All
Searches and selects all cells containing an occurrence of the search string.
Ignore case
When checked, conducts a case-insensitive search.
Wrap around
When checked, starts at the current selection in the document and continues to the same point. Otherwise, Find stops at the end of the file.
• Special characters and mathematical expressions can be copied and pasted into the Find dialog box, by choosing Copy As
Plain Text. See Getting Started: Entering Mathematical Formulas
• The Find dialog box searches the contents of cells only. Use Cell
Find Selection in Cell Tags to search cell tags.
