Customizing the Bibliography
Specifying the Criterion for Sorting
This Sorting template specifies the criterion used for sorting the entries in the bibliography. The default value is None. The possible values of this template are:
• None-Sets default LabelFormat to [Number] and CitationFormat to [ConjoinedNumbers]. References are then sorted by the reference number.
• Author-Sets default LabelFormat to Pointer and CitationFormat to AuthorsAndYear. References are then sorted by author name. Three em dashes automatically replace author name(s) for Ibid entries.
• AuthorNoIbid-Sets default LabelFormat to Pointer and CitationFormat to AuthorsAndYear. References are sorted the same as in Author, but there is no autoreplacement author name(s) in Ibid entries.
• Key-Sets default LabelFormat to [Key] and CitationFormat to [Key]. References are then sorted by Key.
