Adding Entries to the Database
The default reference database is a plain text file called Database.m that is located in the Configuration/References directory in the Publicon layout. When you add new entries, the appended database file is stored in the preferences directory (see Getting Started: Troubleshooting for locations for your platform). The easiest way to add entries is to use the Insert Reference dialog box that appears when you click Insert Reference on any document palette. When you define a new reference using this dialog box, an entry for the reference is automatically added to the reference database.
You can add entries to the database manually by opening this file in a text editor and typing in the information for each reference directly in the file.
