The Database File
Publicon stores reference data in a references only database. A reference database is a plain text file. Publicon comes with a reference database file called Database.m that is populated with reference citations that Publicon's sample documents link to. Database.m is Publicon's default reference database and is located in Publicon/Configuration/References directory in the Publicon layout. You can also create new reference databases or append citations to an already existing one, including Database.m.
When you load a reference database it immediately becomes the new Publicon default. The new database is now available to all Publicon documents and the previous database is no longer accessible. You can have only one reference database open at a time. If you need to access a previous database, you must reload it.
