A3.7 QuickTime Movies Jump When Replaying
QuickTime movies drop frames when the computer is not sufficiently powerful to display a movie at the required playback rate. This problem is most apparent when Virtual Memory is turned on. The Mathematica player does not drop frames. Alternatively, it is possible to use Mathematica to convert the movie into a more appropriate format; other formats may require less compression and can be replayed at a faster rate.
