$KernelCount

$KernelCount

gives the number of subkernels available for parallel computations.

Details

  • $KernelCount is equivalent to Length[Kernels[]].
  • When evaluated in a subkernel of a particular master kernel, $KernelCount gives the number of subkernels available to the master kernel.
